Residency program

Description of residency program

The Swiss non-profit organization ARTE PONTE offers an international self-funded residency program in Venice, Italy.  This opportunity is open to all visual artists, writers and curators.

The accomodation is located in the historical Palazzo Corner Spinelli, located on the Grand Canal, consisting of a private apartment (studio) with kitchen and private bathroom. And use of the terrace overlooking the canal (weather permitting).

Artists have the opportunity to visit the Biennale and to allow themselves to draw inspiration from Venice and surroundings and the centuries of culture that define the beautiful lagoon city. In addition, they will have access to the wealth of galleries and exhibitions in Venice and beyond.

Venice is a unique place where artists can live and work together in historic buildings, where you can recharge and reset by enjoying walks in the old city’s maize of small streets.

Arte Ponte actively promotes the work of all our artists through our online platform, social media; art fairs during SCOPE in Basel, New York and Miami and our New York space in Chelsea.
